The 10th anniversary of the Texas Med Center 5K on Saturday, February 11, was a resounding success and established new highs for participation and fundraising. More than 1,900 individuals took part this year, with more than 500 participants from the Presenting Sponsor General Electric.
Runners and walkers helped raise $45,000+ for the Harris County Hospital District’s Healthy Families Programs and Services.
From commemorative race shirts, sponsored by Community Health Choice, to the post-race party with awards, food, drinks and entertainment, all generously donated, the day could not have been better.
